Day 1 of my World Cup 2018 concept series, I’ll be running through these in alphabetical order, so up first is Argentina.
I’ve kept things pretty simple, with the classic sky blue and white vertical stripes – with a subtle angular pattern thrown in – and paired with sky blue shorts. Wanted to incorporate a little more gold from their crest, had originally thought of trying to work it into the vertical stripes, but everything I tried felt a little messy (no pun intended) so in the end I’ve just used it for the trim and pair it with a dark navy.
