Whipped up a couple of quick Maine Red Claws concepts using my new basketball template. Goal was to produce something simple and in-line with Boston Celtics (who are their NBA affiliate). I’ve gone with a green alternate jersey featuring ‘Reds’ across the chest – for the most part this is a Celtics jersey featuring some red highlights. Again this is abbreviated from ‘Red Claws’, and while have ‘Reds’ on a predominantly green jersey might seem odd it is entirely intentional – according to Wikipedia (which is, obviously, never wrong), the ‘Red’ in ‘Red Claws’ is a small tribute to longtime Celtics coach Red Auerbach.
